Grupo X was formed by trombonist Jonny Enright as an off-shoot from the legendary salsa combo 'La Clave'. Using the raw-edged sounds of 60s and 70s Latin New York as a blueprint, Grupo X's soul-tinged Latin grooves signal the re-emergence of the feelgood jazz-room vibe of a Caister soul weekender.
