Handprints was produced and put together from December 2011 through to March 2012 and consists of music mainly written and composed by Handbook. It's built upon the laid back key-based grooves and is a continuation of some of the ideas found on the 'RedLights. EP' that he put out in August 2011. But Handprints, for Handbook, is more than just a project proving that he could arrange and produce music without samples. He made these tracks to be listened to in any weather, in any season and to be as memorable as possible. In this project, melody is key and so is the feel of the EP as a whole.
