Tarek, aka DJ Tarek, is a composer, producer, promoter, and most proudly the founder of LickSamba Music. This label was born in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which has rightfully earned worldwide acclaim and distribution. Drawing from cultural influences and many musical genres such as World, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Funk, House variations, and Broken Beats, he creates a musical experience uniquely his own. He has shared his musical vision djing across the globe, performing at events in cities such as Beirut, Amsterdam, Sao Paulo, NYC, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, San Diego, Lisbon, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, and of course, in his home turf of Rio.
